چکیده

This study aimed comparison the gastric ulcer induced by indomethacin, aspirin, and ethanol on level of pathological changes, ulcers surface area, index. Forty rats were divided into 4 groups: control group received normal saline, remaining groups, Indomethacin 40 mg/kg, Aspirin group100 80% 5 ml/kg, all doses orally administrated one time. The result revealed had largest whereas indomethacin a significantly lowest index after 3 hrs., no significant differences among groups 24 hrs. We conclude that area was severer severe decline production modest rise COX2 expression, which stronger weak

Gastroprotective effect of sodium hydrosulfide against indomethacin-induced gastric ulcer in diabetic rats

Introduction: The incidence rate of gastric erosions and ulcers in diabetic patients are higher due to failure of mucosal antioxidant defense and maintain enough blood flow. The present study evaluated the gastro-protective effect of sodium hydrosulfide (NaHS) against indomethacin-induced gastric lesions in diabetic rats. Methods: In order to test anti-ulcer activity of NaHS against indomet...

Hydroxyproline, a Serum Biomarker Candidate for Gastric Ulcer in Rats: A Comparison Study of Metabolic Analysis of Gastric Ulcer Models Induced by Ethanol, Stress, and Aspirin

Gastrointestinal symptoms are a common manifestation of adverse drug effects. Non-steroid anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) are widely prescribed drugs that induce the serious side effect of gastric mucosal ulceration. Biomarkers for these side effects have not been identified and ulcers are now only detectable by endoscopy. We previously identified five metabolites as biomarker candidates for N...
